Erste Ausgabe dieser bedeutenden Arbeit. - "Oersted's failure to publish a detailed account of how he came upon his discovery, of exactly what the series of confirming experiments consisted, or the time and place of each step in the process of clarification have left an area of uncertainty that never has quite been filled. Five general accounts have been left to us by Oersted concerning events connected with the discovery. The earliest of these was published in Danish before April 1821 and was immediately followed by two equivalent accounts in German (hier vorliegend) and French also probably prepared by Oersted" (Dibner, Oersted and the discovery of Electromagnetism). - Bei vorliegendem zweiten Band fehlt das zweite Heft. Dafür ist das zweite Heft von Band 32 eingebunden, das die Arbeit von Oersted enthält. - Stellenweise etwas stockfleckig, sonst gut erhalten
